I've worked in Health and Fitness for over 10 years, initially part-time while I worked a 9-5, and eventually transitioning to make it a full time gig. I learned first hand early on that a regular routine of physical activity is crucial in supporting physical, emotional, and mental wellness. I appreciate and enjoy a variety of activities - obstacle courses, hiking, trail running, etc. - but strength training has my heart. Building strength is functional, fun, and empowering.
As a Personal Trainer, Women's Coach, and Fitness Instructor, I help my clients build strength, consistency, and increase their fitness and confidence using an evidence-based holistic approach to training and program design. My goal is that each client walks away from their session feeling strong, proud, and heard. I apply behavior change approaches unique to the individual, enabling long term success and self efficacy. Training is challenging physically, but can also present mental and emotional hurdles, so I strive to foster a space that is safe, open, and usually full of laughter.
